Waiting for biometric letter

Hello sir/madam, i have applied for my mom and sisters visa extension and i have gotten letter for biometric for my sisters last week but mother's i have still not gotten the letter even though we submitted there applications at same time and my sister is dependent on my mother so u guys do u think its normal ? Should i contact my solicitor to ask him to email home office?

What did they apply for?
