One low wage payslip

Post by Sun_Z » Mon Mar 01, 2021 9:47 pm

Hello, I will be applying for a fiancé visa for my partner soon.

I am applying under cat B and for the past 6 months I was working for one company in the U.K. earning an average of £2,400 a month. However, I left last month so only received 1 days pay of around £100.

I have now started a new role at around £3000 a month, and this month I will be over the threshold of £18,600 in the past 12 months. I am just wondering if the low amount £100 pay slip will have any bearing in the cat B process?

Also, I have not received the payslip for £100. Will this also have any effect if I can’t supply it?

Yes it would help with the condition of CAT B for income earned during the last 12 months.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply.

What I mean is will this £100 drag the rest of the average earnings of my previous companies wage down? For how the home office calculates a wage?

Even without the £100 I will still have made over £18,600 this month. Also, is it a problem if I can’t supply this payslip because my previous company has not supplied it?

Are you salaried or un-salaried with your new employer?

Salaried.
Please see page 23

Your most recent page will be used to calculate your gross salary by multiply it by 12 if you are paid monthly and also you need to add your last 12 months payslips showing the total of £18600 has been earned.

Thank you for the information. I am currently chasing up my previous company for the £100 wage slip. However, if it is not possible to obtain it would a letter from my previous employer explaining it was for 1 days work suffice?
