Information about application not approved yet

Hi all,
I have submitted all my application and biometrics in early December but I haven't had any other communication since.
Is there a way to check the status of the application?
I called the number advised on gov.uk but they are unable to tell me anything about it.

Is there a way to check the status of the application?

No there is not. The call centre is a third party agency called/run by Sitel, you are not speaking to ukvi directly.

Applications can take up to 6 months, soemthime longer. All you can do is wait.

You need to be patient. Standard processing is 6 months. You will not get any response to your enquiry before that. Enquiry will be ignored. You can not request the status check before 6 months. Even after 6 months if you email HO for a status check, 95% you never get a reply. So patience is the key.

I will check again in 2 months time since I realised I actually sent my application at the beginning of November.
