When can a Life in the UK test be done?

Hello,

We still have another 5 years left on our 10 year spouse visa route. I was just wondering if we could get the Life in the UK Test done now or does this have to be done when we are at the end of the 10 years?

Life in UK has no expiry date. You can take it when you wish. Obviously keeping in mind 5 years down the line no one knows if some rules/test change etc.
