HI Friends, Good Morning all. Can someone guide what type of visa application is valid in this scenario.Husband is on ILR quite recently from Tier-2 General visa. His dependents are Tier2-PBS dependent visa's. These dependents are not eligible for ILR yet, and their current visa's gonna expire soon.
So do they need to apply for PBS-dependent visa extension or ILR dependent visa?

thanks for the response. May I know why can't they apply for ILR dependent visa, since main applicant got the ILR.

Ilr dependent visa will reset their ilr clock to zero and a new 5 year route (2 X 2.5 year visas) before they can apply for ilr. This is also has more requirements to meet.
Your choice which you want to apply for.
The rules allow PBS dependents to continue extending their PBS dependent visas when the main PBS migrant gets ilr based on PBS route.

Hi, recently the husband got the ILR from Tier-2 general. He would like to extend his wife & son PBS dependent visa's. Does his wife need to show funds in her bank account ? or is it ok to show the funds from her husband bank account ? or how about the showing the maintenance letter from her husband company there are his tier-2 General visa sponsor's.
Thanks,
Sekhar.

Either your account or spouse account. It doesn't matter.
Tier 2 sponsor company CANNOT certify maintenance for the dependent if the main PBS visa holders now has ilr.

Hi , Hope you are doing good. My Kid's passport(India) going to expire on 23- June - 2021. And his current PBS dependent visa will get Expire on 24-March-2021. We are process of applying the PBS extension. We are not sure wheather we can go with this passport since it has limited time left on it.
Or we should get his passport renewal done before the BIO metric of the PBS, he is 5 years old.
Please suggest us.
Thanks,
Sekhar
