When change Dependant Tier 2 visa to Spouse visa?

I have Tier 2 (General) work visa and the expiry date is 18-04-2022.
My wife entered the UK on 25-06-2020 under the Tier 2 Dependant visa. Her BRP expiry date is 18-04-2022. She is now living in the UK for 9 months.

I got my ILR on 20-03-2021 and I am now a permanent resident and my Tier 2 visa will no be longer valid after 20-03-2021.

The question is that shall my wife stay on Tier 2 Dependant visa until the expiry date on 18-04-2022, then apply for a Spouse visa? or Shall I apply right now for her Spouse visa?

She can continue as a PBS dependent until she qualifies for ILR.

What if we change her PBS Dependant to Spouse visa? Is there any problem?
And, is there a written statement in Gov.UK to say there is no restriction in her continuation with PBS Dependant and no need to change to other types of visa? I am really curious.

There is no need to change visa.

It is your choice if you choose to switch to FLR M spouse visa and meet the English and financial requirements. Switching to FLR M will reset the clock to zero for ilr and a new 2 X 2.5 year route to ilr.
