Same employer, new SOC

Hi there, I hope everyone is well. My employer is in the process of renewing for the skilled worker visa (switching from Tier 2). I will be with the same employer but wondering what would happen if we apply for a new COS with a new SOC code? The visa renewal will fall in line with a job change in the company. Is there any issue with this?
