Applied for Ec under transitional HSMP Tier 1 General

Finally the moment of truth arrives for us:
Applied at Mumbai vfs: 10th Jul
Integra: week after
due to a few holidays ...15th Aug, then a weekend...followed by the Parsi new year which was a holiday for Mumbai vfs...we got our pp's duly stamped for 3 yrs just yesterday.
visa valid from 13th Aug.
collected docs from vfs personally on 20th Aug exactly 1 month and 10 days for our results to come.(Main applicant : my wife + me)

Dear Friends,

I applied on 20th Aug at VFS Bangalore (Category: Tier1 under Transitional arrangements for HSMP). I have applied only for myself, wish to apply for my wife later.

I am not sure if my HR has got any verification call (I can't ask my HR directly, I'm nervous about it), but I hope it would have happened by now. By when can I expect my results, any idea?

I applied thru VFS hyderabad.
Applied 18th Aug
Integra verification: after 1 week

I called up BHC and they are saying that it is with case worker , hope to get my Visa soon.

Hi Friends,

I got my EC cleared and received my passport today.

Here are my timelines.

EC Applied : 25th August (From VFS Pune)
Integra : Came to know from HR its done in the last week of August
Visa Granted : 15th Sep 2008 for 3 years
Passport received : 17th Sep

Though I have applied for a post dated visa EC has been granted from the date of approval which is 15th Sep.

Hi All,

I applied for EC on 18th Sept with HSMP approval letter in vfs south africa, as i am working in South Africa (Pakistani National).

The VFS officer told that it will take 5-10 working days to get the visa generally but if i see timelines of other people it seems average processing time is 5 weeks.

Anyway, i wish luck to everybody who is applying for EC.

Hi Guys,

I got the Entry Clearance with the HSMP approval letter.
I applied on 18th Sept and today(25th) I got the 3 years post dated visa.(45days postdated)

EC clearance from other countries seems quick; not sure why it takes that long from India.

Hi,
Applied for EC Transitional arrangements on 20th Aug 2008 at VFS Chennai. It has reached more than 6 weeks but no decision has made.
Still my application status says as "Application has been forwarded to the British High commission"
Just called Customer Care, and they have given me the email id chennai.visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk to know exact reason for delaying.
Just sent email them and asked for still they need any additional documents to proceed further.
Is this mush delay is normal? Anyone who has applied within this date range and got thier decision?

Hi Jagan, do not worry too much.. as it seems EC Transitional is getting delayed. I too applied on 20th Aug @ VFS, Bangalore and still awaiting results.
