ILR Appointment - Dependant have to accompany?

Wanted to know if my wife and kid needs to accompany me while a ILR appointment?

If you are applying for her ILR at the same time as your dependent then she will need to attend. The child won't need to.

Yes I am including my dependants in the ILR application and this is based on 5 yrs WP. I was in the impression that I dont need have to take my wife along with me.
