i recently received mail from CIC !!!!

Dears

i applied since 1 year and half now and i recently received mail from CIC telling me that if im not interest anymore in immigration to send them and they will refund the money i paid

DOSE this mean anything to anyone!!!!?

Because i asked many friends who applied with me and who already get the visa and no one received such this mail

This is one of the new initiatives to reduce the backlog of applications. Everyone who has been in the queue over 'a certain' length of time, who has not yet been processed, is being sent this letter with the hope that some will take up to offer to withdraw and get processing fees refunded, thereby reducing queue. They have been going out in batches, no doubt related to wait times.
