Spouse visa: extension

Hi,

I am currently working in private nursery. I need to do a course which will be funded by government. My husband is living in UK for nearly an year now. If I apply for this fully funded Couse, will it affect his spouse visa extension.

As this is funded by the government, will it be considered as public fund?

As it's been funded by the govt, I thought I might be one of the benefits.

Hope I can do the course, and it won't affect by husband extension application.
