Sponsor License Priority Service Delayed

Hi, We got a space within the sponsor license priority decision window + paid the 500£ and on day 8/10 of waiting, the Home Office wrote to us saying they can't process within 10 days and will 'come back with questions and aim to process as soon as possible' they ended up refunding the 500£ too.. Has this happened to anyone?
It's been two weeks since they've emailed us that and still no update/questions haven't been sent through either.
We are now on week 4 after sending in the initial application.

Have you got any progress? We got the same email on 10th day of our application and they refunded our priority fee as well.

It's been 5th week we haven't heared from home office.

Hi, no update yet/they haven't made contact with said questions either. Going on week 6 as of tomorrow after initially submitting application. Will keep you posted..

No they haven't reached out to us yet, our 6th week was started from today i.e. Monday

But they didn't Mentioned anything about questions in the email to us, they simply said our application is classed as complex and they need more time, did you got same email?

Hi, our message was along same lines. They implied that they may revert with further questions and stated …’we will aim to process your application as soon as possible’.
Hopefully not much longer now.
