Applying for EC under transitional arrangements. Please help

Post by newbee2008 » Tue Oct 14, 2008 11:58 am

Hi,

I am going to apply for EC in early Nov, 08 under transitional arrangements from Pune VFS. Please help me with answers to the following two questions

1. What documents need to be submitted under transitional arrangements apart from documents for Maintenance funds?

2. I understand that we need to apply using following FORMS. Please confirm if they are correct?
pbsappendix1.pdf and vaf9.pdf

Also, please let me know from where to obtain INTEGRA form?

I'll be very much obliged to have your comments on this.

Hi Friend,

I am applying for EC under transitional arrangements. I have a query on Maintenance Funds.

I sent an email to VFS asking them about the list of documents required for EC and they in response told me that I need to submit 12-15 months bank statement out of which the last 3 months should maintain the balance eqvivalent to 2800GBP. I have been maintaning this balance since last 3 months but if I send them 15 months statement do I have to show proof for the bulk deposit that I made just before the start of 3 month period. As I was under impression that we need to send only last 3 months bank statement.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

newbee2008, i have the same question as of yours. I have HSMP letter but started maintaining 2800 GBP later on. Due to fluctuations in rupee / pound rates, i opened foreign currency account and transfered all money including help from outside. I guess requirement is now only for three months period but others to confirm.
Further can anyone help on HSMP 6 months validity period?
What does 6 months indicate, apply for EC during this or enter in UK during this or get a job during this period. Thanks.

Just for the sake of others if you look at the last post before you, i've posted some basic questions which you can answer as you have surpassed all this.
I wonder when people get success they never bother what others still behind are up to.........

Tier1 Visa

Post by kiladik » Mon Oct 20, 2008 6:07 pm

Hi newbee2008,

Only 3 months statement is required for maintanance proof if you already hold a HSMP approval letter.

Even I claimed the earnings points from Feb 2007 to Jan 2008 and received the HSPM approval letter in March 08. For EC I applied in August 08 with 3 months bank statement for Maintanance fund (May 20 - Aug 20). So I have not shown any bank statement from 1st Feb 08 to 20th May. But I have submitted payslips from Feb 08 to Aug 08.

But see that maintanance fund was accumulated from your earnings ie., your total earnings should be more than the deposited amount.

KK

HSMP letter Validity

Post by kiladik » Mon Oct 20, 2008 6:14 pm

Hi loodk,

6 months validity means once you get the HSMP approval letter you need to apply for EC(Visa) within 6 months(from date on HSMP letter). Other wise you need to make a fresh application again.

Once you get the visa you can enter UK any time , even after 2 years.

KK

Thanks KK, your response is appreciated.
Can you mention the documents submitted with EC application?
Pl. specifically mention about maintenance funds documents of the last 3 months.

KK,
Please indicate about pbsappendix1 where only part 7 and 8 are required to be filled for those having HSMP letter.
Did you fill part-8 the summary sheet? Did you mention the same points while initially applied for HSMP approval?
i have passed by birthday and my age scores are less then at the time of HSMP approval, pl. throw some light.

Noted your previous response,
at the end of every month i'll convert my salary in open market to GBP and then submit into foreigh currency account,,
means i have to attach salary slips and the money changer letter for showing conversion........is that so?

Tier1 Points

Post by kiladik » Mon Oct 20, 2008 6:54 pm

Yes, enter same points when applied for HSMP approval letter. Plus 10 points for maintanance and 10 points for English requirement.

better confirm from other senior members also but as per the guidance it says once you have HSMP letter then only maintanance proof should be shown. no need to prove again for age, earnings and education.

Thanks KK, for your very straight forward answers. My situation is exactly the same as yours. Based on your inputs I am planning to submit only 3 months bank statement + the earlier statements which I submitted for HSMP approval letter. There would a gap in between from Mar, 08 to July 08 but then I will submit my payslips for that.

I hope this would be okay. Lets see. Thanks again.

newbee2008,
Why we need to submit original bank statement? that was required for HSMP and now HSMP letter is there with us.
Further only three months bank statement is required to show 2800 GBP, why salary slips of in b/w period are required?
