Can't be 100% sure, but I think my marriage played the role.

I don't know. I applied in March, got a decision earlier this year but I did not receive any e-vetting form. E-vetting is for new applications I believe.
I think you are your friends are an exception to the rule!! i applied months before them and havent heard anything neither have others on this site who applied in the early part of the year
I am sure we will see more reports shortly about decisions being made regarding applications from 2020.

It could be any amount of time - that just seems to be a generic email. I had a similar one in December 2020 and nothing since.
