Thank you for your reply.littlerr wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 12:49 amOf course it needs to be a Yes. There are countless examples where an applicant’s application gets refused after failure to disclose traffic offences. Also, *knowingly* concealing such information is considered fraud.
You need to disclose it. Write a letter of remorse and attach it with your application. Also, find a better solicitor.
Yes, send a letter with a copy of the fine receipt if you have it and explain that you did not mean to hide this nformation. Citizenship application will not be refused if the offence was declared but if it wasn't it will be viewed as not being of good character.
Yes he is 100 % right I had 6 points in 2016 and I disclosed it. Yes i already sent them a letter and explained everything.
Did you get your decision and was all good?
Garda vetting will be carried out repeatedly while your application is in progress. Many people have been asked to provide vetting more than once. If they find this out by themselves instead of from you, it will be treated as bad character.zoie777777 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 7:34 pmhi just curious if someone's receives points well after second stage letter ( nearly 2 years file already in the system), does he still owes responsibility to mention it or department would consider him/her (if find out themselves) a bad character and refuse his application?
I would be greatly appreciate it if moderator of this group can shed some light of their knowledge?
