Separated and need to renew stamp

Hi All,

Could you please help me out with this. I am non EU national living in Ireland 8 years now. I am on stamp 4 EU fam from last 3 years. When I get my stamp4 EU fam my passport was expiring after 3 years so I only get my gnib card for 3 years now I renewed my passport and wanted to extend my stamp. I am separated now and my wife still living in Ireland with our child and I have already informed the department about our separation and got reply from them a year ago that my stamp will remain unaffected because my wife is still living in Ireland. So now can I visit gnib office at my own to extend my stamp without her or what is the procedure now to renew my gnib card. Thanks a lot in advance.
