Maintainence fund source

Post by varun.karkra » Fri Oct 17, 2008 6:35 am

Hello freinds,

I have maintained 3200 pounds in my account from past 3 months. But 4 months back i got 1L rupees transferred to my account .

Do we need to show from where i got this money, i got this from one of my friend who had taken it long time back.

I have seen many rejections where people deposit huge sum all togeather. In any case every month 60 k is coming in my account as salary.

Please advice. I need to apply from Pune VFS as soon this query is answered.

Regards,

You apply when 90 days are also over and the credit transcations (large sum) is not featuring on statements e.g. apply after 4th months.

For Maintenance Funds, transcation history last 90 days matters.

Varun,

You are right in your concern, as the account statements for both salary and maintenance you would be showing would be the same account, there are chances that the Case officer questions the large influx of funds which is not your salary.

Was this amount a cash deposit or cheque? Maybe you can produce a certificate from a family member that its a gift to you. Get the documentation right if your planning to use this method.

Senior Members please comment/advise.

Amit
