faster decision priority service

On the Gov.UK website, it states for a settlement application you can get a decision within 5 working days (priority service) from the day you go for your bio appointment.

Is that true as many people on this forum have suggested 30 working days. Today my spouse went to VFS Pakistan and she was given the option to pay for the Priority service which she did and on the counter, the chap said it can take up to 45 calendar days.

What should it really be (SLA)

The priority application and its assurance of fast turn around is predicated on the application being straight forward-a caveat is placed stating that applicants should really be sure they do not have any matter that complicates there situation.
Despite the above, there is still delay being encountered due to covid-19 or people.just getting the not straightforward application mail from HO so no one can tell you with certainty what to expect but will take onboard the observation of chap at the counter.
