BRP Card update required or not on passport renewal

Dear Gurus and Members,

Im an ILR holder in UK. My Indian passport has expired last year and due to covid related issues - i have not been able to renew it.

One thing Im not clear about is - do I need to have a new BRP card issued as well after passport renewal?
Does it come under change of circumstance categury by UKVI?
Is there any other action I need to take to inform UKVI about my change of passport?

If you have accurate information for above, I'll appreciate your responses.

There is NO requirement to update UKVI once you have ILR and you do NOT have to get a new BRP card.

No. A BRP has nothing to do with your passport

UKVI migrants change of cicumstance form does ask for passport details change to be notified to UKVI:

There is no requirement to update the UKVI
