Defined cos delayed for skilled worker visa

Hello everyone,

my employer has submitted the request for my defined cos on 30 July, 2021. And the Home office demanded additional documents to Home office on 3 August. And now it has been more a month that I haven't received my defined cos yet. Is it normal? Does anyone know the processing time for this, cause I found that it is usually one working day through the website of Home Office. My work contract will start from 27 September, so I am afraid that I cannot commence the work on time. I'm really worried.

Is there any suggestions for that?

Hello,

Please do not stress out. It is normal, due to too many visa applications backlog Home office is taking time to issue CoS.

My CoS was applied 5 weeks back till now I haven't heared from my employer about it either.

Most probably your CoS is queued and waiting for a caseworker to look at it and finalize.

HI ! Didi- you get it ? And if so when did you receive it ? My employer asked for a defined CoS weeks and weeks ago and I'd like to get an idea on porcessing times more accurate than "one working day" as UKVI says.

My employee send back additional info the home office needed on 12th Jan and got the CoS assigned on 1st Feb. Hope that helps!

Got the CoS approved by NHS 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the CoS. With the ukraine visa crisis, not even sure I can get that + work visa in time before joining! Wish we could contact them but they say not to contact them by email as they have a lot of emails. Can we do anything else?

I’ve been waiting since August ending and up till now I’m yet to get my COS, the waiting is so frustrating. Does it take this long to get COS from the outside UK?
