source of funds

dear friends,
i applied for tier1 from india last month.waiting for reply.i did not show the source of funds for maintenance requirement.is it mandatory to show the source of funds which i have deposited in bank a/c for maintenance.please clarify.

nowhere in the guidance it is mentioned that you need to show the source of funds.
But members on this forum advise to do so.
since you have already submitted your application, no need to worry. I hope you'll get through. Just post here your outcome for the sake of other members.
