Hi All,
I applied in Jan 2020. Received a request for additional documents in Jan 2021. Emailed in June 2021 asking for status. To date, they haven't responded to that email. In July 2021 I received a letter thanking me for sending documents in Jan, but then asking for basically the same documents again and a few extra. I sent what they requested the next day. In early October 2021, I received a document for e-vetting. I completed it and the e-vetting was completed and the disclosure viewed by immigration October 19th. No word since then.
Will you mind telling what extra documents they asked for?
Not at all. In January 2021 they requested additional documentation with both mine and my husband's name from the three months prior to submitting my application in January 2020. I'd submitted the correct amount of documents as requested by the application, but I sent more. In July 2021 they acknowledged receipt of the documents from January and requested more documents for the month of November 2019. They stated that it had to be a different type of document than I'd previously sent. The documents I'd sent for that month included a personal bank statement, a mortgage statement, and a business bank statement (from a different bank than the personal account and mortgage). The only utility bill we have at our house is electricity and that was in my husband's name - mine has since been added but that wouldn't do me any good for the month in question. The only other thing that I had was an invoice from our business to a client that included our home address, so I sent that.
In the July request, they also asked for a tax document that I hadn't received until late 2020, well after my application had been submitted, so I'm not sure what that was for. They haven't asked for a tax clearance number or certificate.
I received the e-vetting notice in October, but I have no idea if that means my application is moving forward or if it was just a routine step.
