I really agree with that. My best friend keeps coming over to hang out and make me laugh so that's been helping keep my spirits up. We also have an online community we play games with.
We are definitely lucky that temps here are still blue sky and sunny and mid to high 20's Celsius. I've trying to enjoy the weather as much as I can.
It's just so frustrating living in limbo.

I'm so confused right now! I just got a text and immediately after it came I got an email. Both VFS. BUT the wording of the text/email is the SAME as what I was sent on March 22 (the day of her biometrics). HELP! What the heck does this mean?
IMPORTANT INFO: Today is WD131. WD124 I had a phone interview. Woman said it "shouldn't take much longer" when I asked how much more we would have to wait.
This is the email from March 22:
"Dear Sir or Madam,
The processed visa application for GWF reference number GWF****************** was forwarded to UK Visas and Immigration on 22-03-2021.
Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.
Regards, VFS Global"
And this is the email/text from tonight:

So frustrating! I think it's all just automated emails being received. A different guy in the forum received an email from the Home office that a decision was made and then a day or so later received the same email as you saying they have forwarded their application... I think VFS confirmed it was generated in error and that he needs to wait for his passport to be ready for collection. Email VFS to confirm what is going on and why you are receiving them! Let us know what they say.
In good news (and because I want to wait to share on the timelines thread) but I got an email saying my wife application was processed this morning and that she needs to collect the passport. Doesn't say the decision but I will find out shortly!

First thing I did was email VFS asking for an explanation for the text/email. UGH they just send an auto reply saying they'll get back to me in 2 days.

It has her full name at the top as well as her reference number and says the post office we had chosen to pick it up at. The email just says how they are delayed and it will take about a month for it to be ready. BUT it says:
"This message serves as confirmation that you hold lawful status in the UK but have not received a BRP to evidence your status due to a specific issues which prevents the Home Office issuing your BRP"
SO??? This means it's approved right?! I keep checking my email and junk mail (this email was in JUNK!) now since. Nothing saying a decision was made. Nothing from VFS and no movement on the tracking number.

Thanks! It definitely reads that she holds lawful status.
The BRP we wouldn't actually get until we move to the UK anyways. Was supposed to pick it up at the post office within 10 days and now apparently it's delayed at least 4 weeks according to this email.

We are in a similar situation. The first email received says your application has been assessed and we need to submit our passports at the visa center. The 2nd email on 28/09 says YOUR BRP IS DELAYED FOR ATLEAST 4 WEEKS AND THIS MESSAGE SERVES AS CONFIRMATION THAT I HOLD A LAWFUL STATUS IN THE UK
We are still waiting for a response from VFS for the collection of our passports

I'm just extra annoyed because the people who posted about getting the same BRP delay email as me on Sept 28th (on reddit) ALL of them got their visa either that same day or the next day. But here I am still with nothing. And no movement on the tracking number still.

Unfortunately that's all the email people can do. They aren't UKVI they are a 3rd party. So they can tell you if it's done or they can tell you they've "escalated" it. Now you have to wait 15 working days usually for someone from UKVI to send you a message about the visa. Be prepared for them to ONLY tell you they are still working on it and it will be done when it's done. Be patient. There really isn't anything you can do to make it go faster. Trust me...I know!

WORKING DAY 137!
Our tracking number NEVER worked. I checked it around midnight last night and still NO details about the shipment. Only told me that because it was over 120 days old there was no info. I checked it this morning out of habit and it said DELIVERED!!! I've never ran so fast to my mailbox and there it was!!!!!!!
Also, I NEVER got an email or text update from VFS (which I stupidly paid the $5 for!!) nor any email from UKVI saying it was processed or complete. NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED! But I have it. And never have to think about visas again!!!
Vignette is good from Oct 1 until Dec 31, 2021!
I'm gonna go laydown now before I pass out. My heart is racing like crazy!!!
