I submitted my biometrics for spouse visa in June 2021. I got an email that processing of application is not straightforward when 60WD were over. I have seen in timeline thread that many other people received the same email despite completing the standard 12 weeks. Is there any update on why is this taking so long as people who submitted biometrics in july have got there applications being decided. Anyone who submitted their biometrics in June have got any decision email or response so far? This is really stressful.

Hi my spouse also submitted his biometrics at the end of June in Islamabad. Still not received any decision, escalated it 2 weeks ago and they said our application is being processed still awaiting a decision.

Hi, same with me. My spouse submitted biometrics on the 28th or June in Islamabad. Its been over 3 months.. we have been waiting but still no decision. Escalated the case on 2/10/21 bit still waiting to hear from them. I don't know why it's taking taking long. I thought my case was quite straight forward as I meet all the requirements. But as I can see from these comments, it seems like those who submitted in June have not heard back yet. But its strange because those who have submitted later have all received a decision back by now. Its very stressful

Hi
It depends from case to case. I submitted spouse visa along with dependant application in the first week of June 21. Biometrics were given in the following week. Now received the email from decision centre that visas have been issued and we have been asked to submit passport. No contact to employer or sponsor.
Regards

Yes IA positive outcome for you too, doing lots of duas IA. I'm not sure why there is a delay but I think the moment it reached 60WD we all received the not straight forward email from UK embassy Abu Dhabi, did you receive this? I've not heard anything since then.. but im a bit relieved that it's not only me.

Did you get the email of application not straightforward when you passed 60 working days?

I called them yesterday and they’d escalated the case in my name rather than my spouse’s name and that was causing a further delay so they’ve told me to wait 15 working days again!

Hmm oh no.. so they made a mistake on their part.
Could it be that they've done the same for me, escalated it in my name instead?
What time did you call and how long did you wait for someone to receive it? I've tried calling them numerous times but no one seems to answer the call.
