Yes- but when you send them an email they ask whether you are the applicant or the sponsor in the UK enquiring

I called them yesterday and they’d escalated the case in my name rather than my spouse’s name and that was causing a further delay so they’ve told me to wait 15 working days again!

Hmm oh no.. so they made a mistake on their part.
Could it be that they've done the same for me, escalated it in my name instead?
What time did you call and how long did you wait for someone to receive it? I've tried calling them numerous times but no one seems to answer the call.

I called around 4pm and it took me around 10 minutes to connect to them, give them a call if it gets to 15 working days and they haven’t responded

My wife did not submit passport, they were not keeping it with them at that time.

No they just replied saying they can confirm that a decision has been made and the visa application centre will be in contact. I'm still waiting I haven't been contacted. Also I didn't receive the 'official' email to say that a decision has been made, it was only when I enquired about the status of the application as it was 78 working days that they replied saying a decision is made.

My wife did not submit passport, they were not keeping it with them at that time.

Yes my husband submitted his passport when he provided the biometrics as we just thought it would save the hassle of giving it later. Its optional whether you choose to submit it or keep it, don't worry they will contact your wife to submit the passport and then she will have to go again to collect it.

We can relate, we have completed 4 months but still no response, it seems your spouse visa has been approved, why dont you try calling ukvi for status of your visa application?

I’d assume a decision has been made if the enquiries team has told you that and maybe the other email was just an automated one? InshaAllah it will be positive and you’re contacted by the VAC soon! It’s so exhausting having to chase this all up and it’s so unorganised

We can relate, we have completed 4 months but still no response, it seems your spouse visa has been approved, why dont you try calling ukvi for status of your visa application?

I received reply from ukvi paid email which says our application status is open

It depends from case to case. I submitted spouse visa along with dependant application in the first week of June 21. Biometrics were given in the following week. Now received the email from decision centre that visas have been issued and we have been asked to submit passport. No contact to employer or sponsor.

NEW UPDATE........
THE ESCALATION TEAM HAS EMAILED ME TO SUBMIT PASSPORTS AT VAC SO APPLICATIONS CAN BE RESOLVED. I HAVE ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT OUR PASSPORTS ARE WITH VFS SINCE THE BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENT. NOW I HAVE EMAILED VFS TO UPDATE UKVI ABOUT OUR PASSPORTS AND LET'S WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
