DELAY IN THE APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP

Dear Expert,

I got a job with a company in UK. The HR informed me that an application has been made for the approval of my Certificate of Sponsorship. However, the said application has taken 22 days and there is no response from the Home Office.

I saw on UKGOV.com that it takes 1 working day for a COS to be approved. How come my application has taken 22 days. What can I do to expedite the process?

Same here. It's been 36 days since my company applied for DCoS and till now I haven't heared any news from my employer.

The process of assigning/issuing a CoS is dealt between UKVI and the employer. The prospective employee cannot do anything different from emailing the employer for updates.

Has any received their CoS yet ? And if so when did you receive it ? My employer also applied for one more than a month ago and I would like to know how long it really takes to be issued (as UKVI apprently can't provide us with reliable processing times).

I received the CoS on the sixth week after my employer applied for it. Yours should arrive soon now.
