Sinovac vaccine & quarantine

Post by Thankyou22 » Mon Oct 25, 2021 1:11 am

Hello all

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

My wife in Pakistan was recently granted her spouse visa. She had already been vaccinated and has her vaccine card/certificate as proof. The vaccine she had was the main one being given to everyone, the sinovac vaccine.
Pakistan is no longer on the red list. But the sinovac vaccine is not one of the vaccines mentioned by the UK. Will my wife have to quarantine in a hotel or not?
If not then that would be great news, but if she has to quarantine can she do it from home in the UK as Pakistan is not on the red list anymore?

Many thanks.

Many thanks for the reply.

When you say "may quarantine at home in England", can I take that to mean 'she definitely can' quarantine at home once she arrives from Pakistan?

Thanks.
