Question about my wife's first British passport application

Dear all,

Documents she is required to send:
1. Certificate of Naturalisation
2. Passport used to enter the country from which you are applying (this is her current password, not expired)
3. proof of name and address
4. and one ID which has her photo in it. it says "non-British passport that hasn't expired" can be used.

My question is can the password used in point 2 to be used in point 4 as well?

To answer my own question, the answer is yes.

The passport has been approved without issue.
