Hi everyone,
I have a question, I am due to get married on 4th December 2021. Can I start filling in the online form for Spouse Visa application and submit it after the wedding? Will there be any issue?
Many thanks for your help in advance.

There won't be any issue, getting non time sensitive documents I place and getting a hang of what the form is like and what to expect.
Many thanks for your help in advance.

I did the same thing, started the online application form about 9 months before I submitted the final application.

Change of name.
Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone on this forum can help me. Recently, my husband to be put his father’s last name with his name to give himself a surname. Do you think there will be an issue when applying for spouse visa?

What’s his name in his passport and other documents?

His new surname. He has managed to changed it on his passport and on other documents. I guess I will have to declare to Home office when putting application through about changing his surname.

Thank you for the reply! His new surname. He has managed to changed it on his passport and on other documents. I guess I will have to declare to Home office when putting application through about changing his surname. If we declare what documents do we need to provide to show there was a change?

If he has any legal document that proves a change of name, similar to a
deed poll, then he may include a copy of it.
