Uk spouse visa first extension

Hi

I am going to apply for my first extension in December. I am going to do it myself not using any solicitor for assistance.

My main concern is that my husband claims child benefit which we are entitled to as we have a 5 year old daughter but the money gets deposited in my account as I take care of all her expenses.

Will that affect my application as I am not entitled to claim any public funds.

Should we explain this in my husbands cover letter?

This is claimed by him and not in your name though deposited in your account. Will not pose a problem.
