ILR to Naturalisation

Post by Kamana » Sun Nov 07, 2021 11:58 pm

Hi
I just received my ILR (LR) application outcome and now I need to get ready for my naturalisation application.
I am married to a BC who also got via naturalisation. My question is can I apply now or do i need to wait for 1 year?

Thanks

Application date for naturalisation application

Post by Kamana » Mon Nov 08, 2021 2:26 pm

Hi, I would like to know what they consider the ‘application date’ in the paragraph below.

Is it the online submission date or the biometric appointment date?

The residence requirements:
• You must have been physically present in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands on the day 3 years before the application is received by the Home Office.

Thanks

The application date is when you (online) submit & pay. Biometrics appointment is just part of the process.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
