Skilled Worker Switching CoS employer & ILR elgibility

Hello,

I have completed 8 months on Skilled worker with my current employer. Now if i switch my employer will the eligibility for ILR, 5 years will get restarted (ie) the initial 8 months will not be considered ?
Or irrespective of employer changes, if i spend 5 years in UK will i get eligibile for ILR ?
Please advice.

Your ILR clock doesn't restart if you change employer, so don't worry.
