Documents for first Passport (adult)

Hi All,

I was reading through online, preparing myself for naturalisation, got myself confused on a point relation to passport application:

You have a certificate of naturalisation or registration
You’ll need both:

your naturalisation or registration certificate
the passport you used to come into the UK or the foreign passport you’re included on..

So my my passport was expired on which I came to Uk, do I need to send the expired only or both?

If anyone, with similar experience or a guru can please share their thoughts?

Yes - send expired and current passports,and your nat. certificate. Nothing else.

Yes sure, thanks, but what if I don't send the current valid passport and only send the expired one as requirement says the passport you used to enter in the UK? Will it have an impact, any thoughts?

You are supposed to send all passports, current and expired.
