Hi
Me and my family are having a major delay in processing visa/passport ; my application was submitted in 2020 August 6th ; Nearly approaching 1.5 years; now my childrens’ BRP ran out they can’t travel; 17 years old Daughter can’t apply for university or driving license. After exhausting all other avenues ; We have been going through Local MP for last 6 months for a resolution; but even after repeated queries I am not getting any definit answer from home office approval letter for citizenship.
Please note that our local authority had received documents and was ready for our citizenship ceremony ; 10 months ago; as they had recieved required documents from home office; we just needed an home office approval letter; after querying home office stated to our MP that they have send an email approval last October(2020) ; which is not correct as I couldn’t find that in my email after repeated searches and I have checked email diligently throughout. Now we are waiting for duplicate of approval letter for last 3/4 months; but no other responses from home office. Our citizenship ceremony needs to be finished before Dec 16 in the coming month. I moved home recently; new local MP is not giving much hopes on chasing this up.
Please someone help how to get of this situation .. thanks in advance

Oh my god, the weirdest situation I have ever seen. Try to spoofing their emails and telephone till you get the letter. It is very extraordinary

This is not a new thing from this hostile environment that only makes people's lives hard. You should contact an intelligent lawyer who can tell home office what rights do you have you are fed up with an institution dealing with you with an utter incompetency .Some MPs support hostile environment so not everyone is trustworthy except an intelligent & professional lawyer who can guide you .

Can you lean more on your MP or their staffers at surgery?
