E vetting and citizenship application

Hi

I applied for Citizenship on Oct 2018 got my registration no. and passport back on February 2019 after that I did not receive any processing stage letter from citizenship office. On 5th August 2021 I got a letter from CMU-4 state that I have to provide police clearance certificate for the time I resided in Sweden and also filled the e-vetting form and returned within 28 days otherwise we will discard your application. You can also buy sometime if you will have some difficulty to obtain Police certificate from Sweden. I sent the filled e-vetting form on 12th August and Swedish police certificate on 24th August. I got an acknowledgment letter about Swedish police certificate but I did not receive any acknowledgment about e-vetting form nor I received any email from Garda. On 28th September I wrote a letter to CMU-4 and asked about it but instead of giving answer to my question they just replied that they received my correspondence to the office and any document enclosed. It is almost 3 months I wonder if any one has similar situation like this and any suggestion.

That's what you said earlier .. they are gaining time and nothing else.. but you are in final stages they will get you done soon I guess

My approval came within a month after the e-vetting disclosure.

BTW I had applied in April 2018. Just got my approval this month. It looks like your timeline is very similar.

Thanks for reply Smilemee Hopefully they will done with my application soon I am just wondering most people done their e-vetting very fast but in my case I send them e-vetting form in August and still I did not get any email of e-vetting.

I had received the e-vetting letter on 4th October dated 1st October. Signed and sent back same day.
Received an email from NVB that an application for vetting has been received by them from INIS on 7th October
Disclosure Viewed on NVB website on 18th October
Approval letter 15th November

Few hours later got update: Application submitted to NVB for processing.

I hope to get e vetting completed this week - I read e vetting takes 5 days to process. Hope this is correct!
