Spouse visa applied in june 2021

My wife submitted 10 days back, still havent heard anything. I have read on some other places that people are experiencing too much wait, even those who submitted before us havent got their passports back. I dont know what is wrong with UKVI, they have some issue, only with june applicants

Really!! I also submitted in June, received our response 2 days ago. It’s a joke! Can’t believe how slow and delayed they are. In shaa Allah we will get our passports back quickly, they’ve made us wait long enough already.

Really!! I also submitted in June, received our response 2 days ago. It’s a joke! Can’t believe how slow and delayed they are. In shaa Allah we will get our passports back quickly, they’ve made us wait long enough already.

It has been nearly 4 weeks since they told my spouse to submit there passport but still not heard anything about the decision. June application are taking very long

Have you contacted them? I don’t think it should take that long.

No I haven’t contacted them yet, I will probably be contacting them by next week if I don’t hear anything by Tuesday.

Finally good to hear your issue has been resolved, hasnt ukvi taken decision on your application yet?if not then why they were asking for the passports beforehand?

Finally email received from VFS for collection of wife's application and for children applications have to wait couple of days more as per communication from my MP with Home Office. There was an ongoing issue with my family passports regarding submission.

Finally, Al Hamdo Lillah my wife and children visas granted and passports collected today from Lahore vfs.
Biometric appointment mid July. My MP has supported me a lot to sort out my family passports issue

Has anyone who applied in the UK in June gotten a response yet? We applied in June, submitted Biometric in July and still haven't heard anything. It's been 187 working days since we visited the biometric centre, and I can't find anyway to get an answer/information. We're meant to be going away next month, but now that looks unlikely

Hi All,

I've been following this thread with interest... i'm pleased some of you are now starting to receive decisions!
My wife submitted her biometrics on the 10th July in Russia & also hasn't received a decision yet, or any meaningful communications for that matter. We have escalated it twice with UKVI (although it turned out the first never actually went to the immigration officer), and now with my MP. Unfortunately it took 3 weeks of chasing my MP's office to get a response from them, then when they escalated it with the Home Office all they received back was the same old "Unfortunately processing of your application has not been straightforward forward....." which we had already received when we escalated it with UKVI ourselves.
My MP has said to contact him again if no decision has been received by mid December, but understandably we're disappointed he hasn't been able to do any more now.

Obviouly we're extremely frustrated with the waiting at this point, as I'm sure all of you are. UKVI really need to get their act together! Hopefully we'll all hear something soon!

So, today, after a week of submitting my passport after being told to by Sheffield team, I received an email from the Sheffield escalations saying that the case is still under active consideration.

Same, I have escalated my case 4 times now but still the same replies from them. I have now decided to get my MP involved. I emailed him a few days ago but he hasn't replied to me yet. I feel so helpless and frustrated! Have you gone past the 120 working days? Although the HO say that they decide 100% of applications within 6 months, I'm actually doubting this and worried that they may take longer
