DLA - additional information request from DWP

Hi,

After submitting DLA application, we received a letter asking us to send the UK passport of the child, parent's passport/travel documents (ILR BRP). The letter also says "We need to see the original documents and will return them to you as soon as possible. You can call in at your nearest Jobcentre Plus who will check your passport and pass the details on to us"

Does it mean we DON'T need to post the original to DLA office, but could show the passport at the local Jobcentre Plus?

Thats what it reads like, but you won't know for sure until you attend a job centre.

Thanks JB007. Yeah, I called DLA helpline and they confirmed the same. I went to Job Centre Plus and they made photo copies and stamped "Certified True Copy" on each page and one of their staff signed/dated.
