Experience Letter - Format

Post by Rex » Thu May 12, 2005 3:29 pm

Best is to go on Canadian immigration website,
there is a list of occupations with a code, alphabatically

search your job title, you will see the sample requirements of Canadian immigration for that job.

Use that as the "Duties & Responsibilities", you can change according to your job description.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MUST INCLUDE
(Many reference letters are rejected because of not having this statement)

Mr.XXXX has been working with company XXXX from -statrt date- to -end date- as a full-time employee.

The job of XXXyour job titleXXX in the company XXXX requires a University degree in the field of (your field) or related discipline.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Write the degree requirement even if you do not have the degree.

Reference letter must be on company's letter-head.

I did all this and got approval in 1 week.

(I worked for UN and they do not give reference letters so I got details of duties on plain paper from my Project Manager and a letter from employer on letter-head comfirming my job as full-time and degree requirement)
