Spouse visa - Is my income sufficient?

Post by moris » Wed Nov 24, 2021 5:35 pm

Dear All Moderators and Members,

I am currently earning £20330 per annum , and paying child (not living with me)maintenance £193 per month. Also my other child going to be living with me from February2022.
In this scenario do my £20330 gross income be sufficient to sponsor my spouse? Hopefully apply for my spouse visa in January 2022.

Please provide me your experiences and any useful information in this regards,
I highly appreciate your valuable inputs.

Thank you in advance

Gross before any deductions.

Yes before all deductions gross I get paid £20330,
So I understand that it doesn’t matter how much I spend and how many dependents i am responsible of ?
Can you please let me know if I understood correctly?

I just forgot to mention that my child who has got ILE very recently and is going to join me in End of January 2022.

So my questions are
1- Do my child come under a dependent along with my spouse? If so how much earnings i need to have ? Can I show my E-ISA savings to cover if I fall short fall ?
2- As am going to apply for spouse visa in January before my child come to uk , is it necessary to inform in the application?
3- Is ILE not equivalent to ILR?

Please help me understanding this and guid me accordingly.

Regards

1. Your child already has ILE so the threshold will be £18,600
2. Yes you will need to declare your child.
3. Yes, Indefinite leave to enter is granted from ABROAD while Indefinite Leave to remain is within UK to put it simply.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.
