Continous residence rule for unprocessed applications

Post by mentalmind » Wed Dec 08, 2021 12:28 pm

I got my passport back with no acknowledgement letter, in this case does 6 week continuous residence rule still apply to me or because I sent my application it won't be a burden anymore? I mean the rule that says "you have to be continuous resident in state and can't leave for more than 6 weeks prior to your application".

As my application is not processed yet (no person ID or payment receipt) I couldn't be sure about it.

The 6 weeks rule is still applied after an application has been submitted.

Rule still applies but the counter will restart from the date you signed the form.
