I would personally ask them to write a contract and you both sign it and you should keep a copy of it too.alyo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 2:25 pmThank you for your reply . I have checked their firms reviews on Google they have a 5 star rating.
I have visited their offices and it looks legit.
Shall i ask him to sign a contract that states money back gurantee? or is the email law binding and enough?
Thanks again
Alf
Why use a solicitor in the first place? What do you think they can do for you that you can't do yourself?alyo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 1:58 pmHI everyone
I have applied for citizenship 3 months ago i was on Tier 1 visa .
My wife and 4 children are on refugee status and they have all been living here for 7 years they were previously my dependents on teir 1 and then they left my visa and were granted refugee status.
A solicitor wants to apply for my 4 chilren 14,12,10,7 for naturalisation and he thinks i should apply for them now before a decision is made on my application.
He is so confident that he put it writing and in an email that if my children are not granted citizenship he will refund his work for 2 applications plus home office fees.
He is relying on the following immigration law
Registration at the Home Secretary’s discretion – Section
3(1) application Children born abroad to parents who are applying for British citizenship
is this too good to be true ?
kindly advise if i should go ahead.
Thanks
Alf
