child's nationality

i am a british citizen and have a child who was born in pakistan. My spouse and child have both now arrived in the uk on settlement visa's. My child has a pakistani passport i was wondering if i could obtain a british passport and/or birth certificate.. as i assume is british by birth

Can you kindly confirm how you obtained your British Citizenship? Were you born in Britian or naturalized?

i was born in pakistan my father who immigrated to the uk was british and i came over when i was a 2

yes he was british before i was born

You're British by descent.

It's unlikely you'll be able to pass on British citizenship and will probably have go via the ILR route for your child.
