Proving immigration status online using share code

Hi All,

I recently joined my spouse in UK as a Student dependent. We have our Residence Permits as well. While asking to get a rented property they are asking to prove our immigration status by a share code using - https://www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status

However when we gave our Passport or Residence permit number and details, it says no records found. Is this only for a any particular category?
