Decline job offer after getting visa - any problems?

Post by JollyGoodFellow » Tue Dec 21, 2021 12:59 pm

Hello

I"m changing jobs and took an opportunity with a UK company who has sponsored me for a Tier 2 visa, which has recently come through. In the meantime, I have got a better offer in my home country and am thinking of declining the UK job offer.

If I do decline it, are there any long term consequences? Will I be on a blacklist or unable to work in/visit the UK in future?

Thanks

You will probably be on the blacklist of the sponsoring company. No other adverse consequences.

nothing to do with the UK govt.. but only the company who sponsored may not hire you again and it is given
