Did you receive a response from the escalation dept? Or any news on your passport?
I have also been waiting 5 weeks and have not yet received my passport back.

No nothing will be 8 weeks for me on 26th

Email them and ask for an update, they should be able to tell you if the case is open/ closed?

I rang them yesterday and they said the case is still opened it’s getting ridiculous

Today they told me a decision has been made. Hopefully I will get the passport back soon. Check with them again in a couple of days and see what they say!

I read somewhere on different forom someone had submitted passport but didn't get reply. But they went there and found out passport has visa and was ready to be picked up. They collected on same day.
