Hi,

Could anyone please confirm that only the financial documents should be within the 28 days threshold?

Bank statements, payslip & employment letter.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks
Yes, financial documents which are specified evidence.

Thank you, @AmazonianX.

Just another thing popped up in my mind. Let's say if my bank issues another statement tomorrow, then can I apply for the visa the same day?

Regards,

We received online payslips. Do I need to ask my HR to sign all of them for me or I can just without the Signature?

Thanks

Do I have to ask the bank to stamp the statements or not?

Normally the statements received by post are stamped. The online one can be used as it is.

Thanks. I only get online statements. All my friends said they asked the bank to stamp them. I think I will wait for Wednesday for bank to open.

Online statements that resemble what you will normally get by post are acceptable.
Give it a try though you MAY not be able to get them to stamp them.

I have applied for my wife spouse visa. One thing that is bothering me regarding the application fees.

The application type is Applying from outside the UK (From Pakistan) and the fees should be £1523 & £1872 for application and IHS respectively. I have paid the application and the conversion rate is ridiculous. After paying everything, I noticed that they have deducted £1620 for the application and £1992 for the IHS.

is that right?

Numerous forum members have indicated differences in what they expected and what is actually charged. HO has their exchange rate based on OANDA.

If you have used your debit card to pay for application then the charges are likely going to be high. I have seen people paid for the application through transferwise, revolut etc which offers good rates.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.

Yes, I have paid via Debit Card. Anyways, what's gone is gone. Hoping for a speedy update. Thanks, mate.

Hi,

My wife had a biometrics appointment today. Just wondering, do the VFS gives an update (acknowledgement of appointment confirmation) after the appointment?

Thanks

So what's your question? The update you may get is as required probably when decision made and passport/docs ready for pick up.

My question was about the VFS update. But after posting here I got the update from them. So no question right now. Thanks
