ILR- tier 2 dependent

Post by Shrestha » Fri Dec 24, 2021 2:20 pm

Hi everyone,

This is for my husband’s application as my dependent.

My ILR application is successful already but waiting for new biometric card to arrive.

I need to put my biometric card number for my husband’s application.

Can I put my old biometric card number or do I need to wait until new one arrives?

Secondly, they have asked for GWF number as well. No sure what this is?

Thirdly, do I need to provide our marriage certificate and evidence that we are living together for his application?

Kind regards

Can I put my old biometric card number or do I need to wait until new one arrives? Since you have successfully applied for new one, the old one is mo more valid. If waiting till your new BRP arrives will not make him an overstayer or his current leave expired, then hold on till you have it.

Secondly, they have asked for GWF number as well. No sure what this is? This is reference number on application. In this case whose GWFis being asked for?

Thirdly, do I need to provide our marriage certificate and evidence that we are living together for his application? Marriage certificate proves marital status not an evidence of cohabitation.

Kind regards

They asked for my GWF number in my husband’s (dependent) application.

Marriage certificate proves marital status not an evidence of cohabitation.
It is not clear what documents they want as an evidence of cohabitation. What do you think I should provide?

Rent agreement in our name
Child birth certificate, born in UK
Our Joint account
Marriage certificate
Council bill in our name

Kind regards

Ignore the GWF. Cohabitaion has NO speciifc evidence. ANY evidence can be used to show you lived together

My husband is my dependent. They have asked for two documents
1. my (main applicant) declaration letter signed to confirm consent for the home office to request verification checks
2. Consent form for the home office to request verification checks on me(main applicant) for joint accounts or third party support.

Are this two documents same?

We have just submitted part2: consent for the home office to verify third party information , signed by me(main applicant).

Is this enough?

Kind regards

Your husband is the main applicant as you already have ILR and are not applying for ILR.

Ok sorry yes, this is my husband’s application. So he is the main applicant.

But the documents they asked for both is in my name. So please ignore the word main applicant in my above question.

Kind regards

Thank you for your reply. Is there any other declarations form apart from part 2 consent that I need to give on my part?
