Finally recieved an email from home office to submit the passport. The only other thing they asked for was to submit the print out of the email they sent me.
2 year of long wait is over. Hopefully they can give back the passport in 2 weeks before christmas holidays.
Dear! Have you got your passport back?
Nope. Its been a month since submission. Last i heard was after submission they wrote a letter stating they relooked at my application and approved it. Telling me the next step is to wait for Visa application center to contact me for passport collection. I will probably go pay them a visit and ask around in passport collection section just in case its already arrived
Have you contacted the VAC?
They dont have any contact details on their website. I found this instead.
"If you have applied for a settlement visa, most decisions will be processed within 60 working days from the date of your appointment."
"After this time, you need to contact UK Visas and Immigration directly, either by phone or email (charges apply), for updates on the status of your application."
I need to wait. The Visa application center will usually contact me within a week just as they did with my refusal and my relatives application. Since the processing time is 2 months, i rather wait for 3 weeks and then contact ukvi for application status. If they say they sent it to visa application center then i will go there directly. If i go there without a reason then they will turn me down.
For the people who have recieved their visa earlier. I believe it depends on which case worker it ends up with. Since they each have different processing times. My two relatives euss applications were submitted at the same time. Yet one of theirs was decided in 5 weeks and the others in 4.5 months.
