RoyalMail - Delivery of Docs

Post by lbfrancois » Thu May 12, 2005 8:09 pm

I got the tracking number from the HSMP team, they said my application was sent back in May 5. But when I check the Royalmail tracking and tracing system I got this message:

"We have received your item and it is being processed for delivery abroad."

It's strange since RoyalMail says it takes about 3 to 5 days for delivery to the local mail system. I don't understand why after a week it was still not sent...

Does anybody know what "being processed for delivery abroad" means exactly?

I've sent a couple of e-mails to RoyalMail, but I havent gotten any answer so far...

Can anybody help me?

Thank you,
Lu.

Finally I got a different message:

"Your item with reference RI562701951GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery. "

I guess I just have to wait a few more days ;-)

Good luck everybody!

Hi!

I got a new message now, the docs were delivered to the local post office to foward to the destionation.

I guess it might take a few more days now, a week at most.

I'm really confident we will get our documents soon ;-)

Let's be optimistics!

Hi!

Yes, I got the documents back on tuesday. Eleven days after they sent it back.

I got the folder with all the plastic sleeves and the docs within them. Exactly as I've sent them. They only took out the box. All the docs are in perfect condition.

I'm sending it back to HSMP Team today by FEDEX. This time I'm using a Demand Draft as payment method. (Check).

Hope it helps.
Good luck !!

Hello,

Not yet, they have recieved my application with the Demand Draft today. I've already sent an e-mail asking if it was cleared. I'm waiting now...

Why did they tell you they might not consider it a draft? Was it a check paid in a UK bank? I asked my local bank to issue a check paid in a UK bank, and they issued it payable at LLOYD Bank. I checked it with the Charging team before sending, and they said it was ok.

Good Luck,
Lu.

hi guys,

i even sent my fees by DD and it was cleared in almost a week. I got reference number of my application as well. it generally taked around 5 working days, so u must allow that much time to them. And then they have to send it back to HSMP team, so here u need to just remind them once if needed.

The problem with them is that they tend to give different info on same issue, that was the reason why i sent it even though they say it might not be considered, that people have used demand draft in this forum and worked is enough courage for me, so i sent it

the draft was made to 'work permits' from Standard chartered bank Nigeria payble by standard chartered london

i hope it works

i hear it takes 5 days to clear too

hope to her from u soon

Well, I guess we just have to try to relax now and wait...

I think it will be fine, it's a uk check!
Besides, I havent heard of any cases were a Demand Draft was refused.

i hope it gets cleared soon, so we can get some sleep at night ;-)

I will let it you know as soon as i get a response.
