Date of entry into the UK

Post by nightcrawler2u » Mon Jan 17, 2022 5:48 pm

Hi,

I received my ILR on 27-01-2021 through 5 year Tier 2 route, and am currently planning on applying for BC on 30-01-2022. I was filling in my application and had a question:

Q: "When did you first arrive in the UK?" -
In my ILR application, I put in 14th Jan 2016 (as this was the date of issue of my first Tier 2 visa). However, I actually entered the UK on 16th Aug 2013 on a Tier 4 visa.
Which would be the date to enter for BC application? I am inclined to think its the 16th Aug 2013 as this application is not based on an immigration route as opposed to ILR?

Thank you for the guidance as always.

It clearly asks for date if entry. Put the date you initially entered the UK in 2013.
